The National Alliance for Broader Impacts (NABI) will be convening this April 25-27 for the 2018 Broader Impacts Summit. Held in Providence, Rhode Island and hosted by Brown University, the theme of this year’s summit will be “Creative Communication and Scholarship.” Speakers for this event include Sylvester James Gates, Jr., Jill Pipher, and Cornelia Dean, all from Brown University. Registration is now open, but special early bird pricing is only available through February 19, so act quickly for savings.
If you are planning to attend you might want to consider a pre-Summit hands-on workshop being led by the Research+Practice Collaboratory on April 23-24 focused on research-practice partnerships to support effective broader impacts and science communication. Funding is available. Register now.
