In September, the Journal of Research in Science Teaching (JRST) issued a call for papers for a special issue on bridging science education and science communication research. The deadline for submissions has been extended to March 1st, 2014. JRST is an international peer-reviewed science education journal. The guest editors invite empirical, theoretical and position papers that bridge research from science education and science communication, by building on literature, theoretical and analytical frameworks, and research questions from both disciplines.
