The LEGO Playful Learning Museum Network (LPLMN) invites new members to join a growing community of museums dedicated to advancing Learning Through Play for children and families. As part of the network, museums work to:
1. Develop and improve exhibits and programs via playful learning principles
2. Expand their reach and impact through community partnership
2. Build lasting play-focused learning practices within your organization.
The Application Process:
Step 1: Submit an Interest Form
The process begins with an Interest Form, where you’ll share some basic information about your museum and your vision for play. Completing this form helps us understand your museum’s readiness and commitment to Learning Through Play. Preview the Interest Form questions.
Interest Form Deadline: Wednesday, December 11, 2024
Step 2: Invitation to Apply
From the pool of interested museums, we will select 6-10 museums to submit a full application. Selected museums will be notified by Friday, December 20, 2024, and must submit a full application no later than Friday, January 31, 2025.
Step 3: Final Selection
After reviewing the full applications, 3 to 4 new members will be selected to join the LPLMN. Final awardees will be announced by Friday, February 21, 2025.
