Host: Association of Science Communicators
The Association of Science Communicators (ASC) seeks an Executive Director with experience in the non-profit sector to oversee all strategic, programmatic, financial, and management functions, including leading fundraising efforts and overseeing our programs and initiatives. You will work closely with the Executive Board and volunteer teams to implement the ASC mission and work to expand organizational reach, fundraising, and professional development opportunities for the professional science communication community.
We are looking for someone with vision and leadership experience who also works well in a team environment. Essential qualifications include:
- Passion for the ASC mission.
- Leadership experience in a non-profit environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Someone who will thrive in a diverse team.
- Good organization skills and attention to detail.
Preference will be given to someone with a background in science communication but we welcome applications from other non-profit sectors.
