Save the date for the next Inclusive SciComm Symposium, hosted by the Metcalf Institute! The symposium will take place both virtually and in-person at the University of Rhode Island.
The Inclusive SciComm Symposium defines “science communication” in its broadest sense: any information exchange designed to engage specific audiences in conversations or activities related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine (STEMM) topics. Inclusive SciComm spans many related fields, such as public engagement with STEMM, informal science learning, journalism, community-based participatory research, inclusive pedagogy, service learning, community organizing, and many others.
