January 20th, 2016
NSF Resource Centers including MSPnet, CADRE, CIRCL, CAISE, STELAR, CS10K Community and ARC, invite you to participate in the second NSF Video Showcase, Advancing STEM for All: Sharing Cutting Edge Work and Community Discourse, which will feature 100 videos showcasing NSF funded, cutting edge work. This year’s theme is broadening participation and increasing access to quality STEM and CS experiences.
This is a great opportunity to broadly disseminate your work through video and to learn about the work of others. During the live event colleagues and the public will view videos and engage in dialogue. Spread the word of this exciting event with your colleagues and networks. Presenters, facilitators, and the public will each have opportunity to recognize “favorite” videos.
Last year’s online showcase, has attracted over 30,000 unique visitors to date, and has received accolades from NSF program officers. To visit last year’s event, go to: http://resourcecenters2015.videohall.com/
Please consider being a presenter. You must register by March 15th and must submit your video by April 28th at 5:00 PM.
We invite your project to share your cutting edge work by creating video that is 3 minutes or less. We expect that many of the videos will address this year’s theme. We invite videos from projects that are in their early stages, as well as those that are “more mature” or recently completed. Videos should illustrate your intervention, innovation, and discuss the project’s impact (or potential for impact for new projects).
Important dates to keep in mind:
- Registration for the event is mandatory and opens January 25th. Register as a presenter by March 15th at: http://stemforall2016.videohall.com
- Once your registration is confirmed you can submit your video. Videos must be submitted by April 28, 2016 at 5 PM EST. They must be less than 3 minutes long and have sound that is audible.
- Your presentation includes your agreement to actively participate in dialogue during the online event, which will take place from May 17th –23rd.
- Visit this year’s event site (above) for important presenter information, including:
- Video requirements

- Visit last year’s showcase to see videos and archived discussions: http://resourcecenters2015.videohall.com/
Use and Reuse of Your Video: The event will be accessible from the home page of all the above named resource centers and will offer your project and video broad dissemination. Your video will be archived on the site after the event ends and will be accessible for you to link to in the future. Your video belongs to you. You can also reuse it for your own website or other project purposes.
We hope you will consider participating in this year’s showcase. To register as a presenter, go to http://stemforall2016.videohall.com . If you are presenting as a team, a lead presenter should be designated and complete this registration.
