In this article, Sue Allen, Director of Visitor Research & Evaluation, shares her experience of working at the Exploratorium for six years and advises on how to write effective questions for evaluation interviews and questionnaires when designing exhibits. Allen discusses the similarities between the process of writing questions and the process of designing an exhibit.
