JMBE Seeking Manuscripts On Citizen Science

JMBE is now accepting manuscripts for a second thematic issue centered around scientific citizenship. The themed issue will be organized and peer-reviewed by a team of Guest Editors and Reviewers, led by Jack Gilbert of Argonne National Laboratory. The issue will be published as a standalone issue in March 2016. This call solicits submissions that pertain (but are not limited to) the following topics:

  • Teaching citizen science to students at the K12, undergraduate or graduate/professional level.
  • Engaging, educating, and training citizens who have minimal science background.
  • National and global citizen science initiatives.
  • Policy issues stemming from citizen science.
  • Service learning and outreach dedicated to citizen science.
  • Citizen science research.
  • Reviews of resources that promote discussion about citizen science.
  • Submissions on scientific citizenship-related topics not identified above.
