Host: National Informal STEM Education (NISE) Network

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with the National Informal STEM Education (NISE) Network (September 15th – October 15th each year). Join them for a two-part online workshop focused on engaging Hispanic/Latinx communities. During part 1, participants will hear from those leading their Engaging Hispanic Communities Initiative who will share about forming partnerships with local Hispanic/Latinx community organizations. Learn more about the co-creation process and how to build relationships with members of your community.

During part 2, participants will learn more about resources to help engage with local Hispanic/Latinx communities and hear from members of the Engaging Hispanic Communities Initiative, diving deeper into building capacity among educators and scientists to engage Hispanic communities.

Participants do NOT need to attend both workshops.
