This year’s Visual SciComm Conference “Shifting Landscapes: What’s Next for Scientific Illustration?” addresses the idea that the field is transitioning on several fronts. With misinformation broadly on the rise—along with recent advances in A.I.—the field of science illustration feels as though it’s at a crux point. Participants will learn from leaders in the field about how to become more effective, collaborative, and nimble science communicators.
