Are you currently developing a project with a goal of broadening participation in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) among traditionally underrepresented groups? The Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education (CAISE) and the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) conducted a digital resource curation workshop to identify relevant funded projects from the InformalScience.org repository. A workshop product, the CAISE Guide to Resources for Broadening Participation in STEM, provides a list of NSF-funded projects, reports, professional organizations, and more that can serve as starting points for reviewing previous related work during the proposal development process. This digital resource complements the synthesis report of the Leadership Workshop for Achieving Scale for Inclusion in STEM, held in June, 2015 at the National Science Foundation.
Do you know of other projects, networks, or resources that should be on our list? Let us know in the comments section below or by contacting us at caise@informalscience.org.
