Open position for an NSF Program Director in AISL and ITEST

Today, the Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings (DRL) within the Education and Human Resources Directorate (EHR) announced a nationwide search for a full time temporary Program Director at the National Science (NSF) with expertise in research and evaluation or practice in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning in informal environments.

The position description says, "the incumbent for this Program Director position will work primarily in the Advancing Informal Science Learning (AISL) and the Innovative Technology Experiences for Teachers and Students (ITEST) programs. AISL and ITEST support innovative research, evaluation, and practice across in informal learning settings in any age group. This includes the development of theory, methods, measurement development, and application in informal STEM learning environments. A major goal of both programs is to enhance the science and practice of broadening participation in STEM."
