ISE Resources for Scientists and Directors of Education and Outreach

Now, scientists and directors of education & public outreach can easily find informal science education (ISE) project and evaluation resources to help them plan and design evidence-based approaches to engaging publics with their research topics. CAISE has launched a new “Scientists and Public Engagement” page that allows users to easily access examples of media & cyberlearning, public programs, exhibits, and out of school time projects that have been effective in facilitating a range of STEM engagement experiences.

The page is designed to help investigators—who may be new to the world of ISE—more easily navigate the 8,000+ resources for ISE on InformalScience.org. CAISE has also included resources for evaluating and assessing learning outcomes from those experiences.

Do you have a project that has engaged learners of all ages in current or emerging science content? Consider submitting it as a project page on InformalScience.org to be featured on the page in the future.
