Institute Of Museum And Library Services IMLS Releases New Report

A new report from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) calls on policymakers, practitioners, and parents to recognize that museums and libraries are important places for creating lifelong learners by fostering learning experiences for young children. The report, called “Growing Young Minds,” comes from the IMLS and the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading. Libraries and museums are important places for informal science education, and the new report provides compelling and easy-to-understand evidence that is accessible to a variety of stakeholders. For more evidence that characterize the outcomes of informal learning experiences see the ISE Evidence Wiki.
