Professional Bio
As a Museology graduate student at the University of Washington, I have been involved with the IMLS funded New Directions project since the winter of 2009. Through this grant, I have participated in evaluations at the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture and the Woodland Park Zoo. This year, I am part of the team carrying out an exhibit evaluation at the Northwest African American Museum.
Previous museum experience includes internships at Strawbery Banke Museum with their Junior Role-Playing Camps, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in Program Evaluation, and the Worcester Art Museum in Visitor Services. In the fall of 2009, I created a library exhibit to compliment UW’s dedication of a new memorial to honor the school’s 8 Medal of Honor Recipients.
