Professional Bio

Kathryn Slocum, currently the Director of External Affairs at the Salvadori Center, has 25 years of experience in fundraising for cultural and educational organizations, including the Hudson River Museum, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA), the Municipal Art Society, the New York Hall of Science and the Art Institute of Chicago.

She came to the Salvadori Center as a grants consultant in 2001 and joined the staff in 2007. The Salvadori Center mission is to prepare teachers to unlock the math and science embedded in the structures that surround us. We inspire students and their teachers to use the wonder, beauty and logic of the built world as a foundation for learning.
